"A Warner Robins couple is adopting two children from West Africa, but the Ebola crisis has temporarily stopped the process. They're keeping hope alive by helping a local widow during her time of need. Two families brought together by one Bible verse. "That comes from James 1:27 in the Bible: Religion that is pure and faultless before the father is to help the widow and orphan in their need,” Kevin Bradford said. The widow is Kristi Dotson and orphans... read more

Tanner Family's Both Hands Project- Owensboro Parent Magazine

I wouldn’t call it a torrential downpour, but it was coming down pretty good. That and the 40-degree temperature was enough to keep most people inside. But we had a purpose, a mission. We had agreed to be here. Even paid money to do this. I’m sure we looked kind of crazy to the few cars passing by. I could imagine them thinking “Why are all those people doing yard work in the rain?” The answer to that question is what made it all worthwhile. We were working to help bring a baby girl home. ... read more

Most seasons are great, right up until the last few weeks when it is... read more
